We are having a small ceremony in Isle of Palms that has limited space. So we will also have our reception back in KY!
In Isle of Palms, the ceremony, reception, and accommodations are all within walking distance at Wild Dunes resort. We are so excited you are considering joining us on our special day.
Our hope is that by piggy-backing the 4th of July people may have more leeway with work. But it is the busiest weekend of the year for Isle of Palms and the resort always sells out for the holiday. So please book soon -we have a code for 20% off!
If you can’t make it to the beach, no worries at all! We truly know a destination wedding is a lot to ask on a holiday weekend. So we will have our home party back in KY 9/28 and it will be a BLAST!

Bridal Party: Let’s practice your strut down the aisle beach side! Held at the North Croquet Lawn right by the party houses. So check-in to your room quickly then bring your beer and come walk so we can party!

Bridal party: The Aloha Deck at Islander 71 will host the bridal party’s rehearsal dinner. Down the stairs at the courtyard, there will be lawn games, great views of the sunset, and live music 5-8:00pm! We can use a mix of the resort shuttles and people driving to take the short 8 min drive off resort. (Not sure of the shuttles availability)

Open to anyone: After the rehearsal dinner, we can all party together! There is live music from 5-8:00pm. You can order food and drinks down at the courtyard, but it the busiest weekend of the year, so we highly recommend making reservations if you are not part of the bridal party.

We are very limited with space and resources at the resort for the ceremony at Isle of Palms :( We will have our reception back in KY in September!
Isle of Palms is where Maria grew up vacationing with her family… including her dad who LOVED the fireworks of Fourth of July weekend. So we are continuing that tradition with a Fourth of July ceremony! All events on the wedding day are held on Wild Dunes resort, in walking distance to the hotel / Boardwalk Homes.

All events are at Wild Dunes to make it easy and the most fun! After the ceremony, you can walk or shuttle to the Indigo Room Rooftop. Cocktail hour will be outside on the rooftop terrace, with the reception following inside the Indigo Room (yay air conditioning!) Get ready for Hors d'oeuvres, a variety of food, desserts, an open bar, and lots of dancing!

Kentucky Reception: Since we are very limited on space in South Carolina and because we respect it’s not an easy trip to make, we wanted to have our reception back home in Kentucky where everyone is invited! This will be much more accessible and doesn’t require travel on a holiday weekend! Plus, kids are welcome here! It will be a stress free party and so much fun! We can’t wait to party with you! We are planning for September 7th, but the date could change slightly depending on details.

ALL GUESTS are asked to wear semi-beach-formal evening attire (no shorts please). Please wear any light color (ex: off-white, cream, beige, champagne, blush, linen, etc.)
