Happily Ever After Party
We are having our Kentucky reception Nov 9th at 5:00 at Historic Arcadia Farm in Danville!
Since we were very limited on space in South Carolina and because we respect it’s not an easy trip to make on a holiday weekend, we wanted to have our reception back home in Kentucky! It will be a stress free party and so much fun! We can’t wait to party with you! November, 9th!
South Carolina Destination Ceremony
We are having a small ceremony in Isle of Palms that has limited space. So we will also have our reception back in KY! The KY reception date has been moved due to an incredible European Royal Caribbean shoot we booked. Thank you for your understanding!
In Isle of Palms, the ceremony, reception, and accommodations are all within walking distance at Wild Dunes resort. We are so excited you are considering joining us on our special day.
Our hope is that by piggy-backing the 4th of July people may have more leeway with work. But it is the busiest weekend of the year for Isle of Palms and the resort always sells out for the holiday. So please book soon -we have a code for 20% off!
If you can’t make it to the beach, no worries at all! We truly know a destination wedding is a lot to ask on a holiday weekend. So we will have our home party back in KY 11/9 and it will be a BLAST!

Bridal Party Only: Let’s practice your strut down the aisle…beach side! Held at the North Croquet Lawn right by the party houses. So check-in to your room quickly then bring your beer and come walk so we can party!

Bridal party: The private Aloha Deck at Islander 71 will host the bridal party’s rehearsal dinner. Downstairs at the courtyard, there will be lawn games, great views of the sunset, and live music 5-8:00pm! Open bar is 6:15-8:15. Then we will hang out with any other guests who have made reservations for the welcome party!

Open to anyone: After the rehearsal dinner, we can all party together! Come eat dinner and get drinks anytime that’s good for you if you’d like dinner! There is live music from 5-8:00pm. Bridal party will come down from the Aloha Deck to join around 8:00 ish. It’s the busiest weekend of the year, so we highly recommend making reservations if you are not part of the bridal party. Please email events@islander71.com or make reservations on Open Table to set up your own reservation! Restaurant closes at 10:00pm.

Isle of Palms is where Maria grew up vacationing with her family… including her dad who LOVED the fireworks of Fourth of July weekend. So we are continuing that tradition with a Fourth of July ceremony! All events on the wedding day are held on Wild Dunes resort, in walking distance to the hotel / Boardwalk Homes.

All events are at Wild Dunes to make it easy and the most fun! After the ceremony, you can walk or shuttle to the Indigo Room Rooftop. Cocktail hour will be outside on the rooftop terrace, with the reception following inside the Indigo Room (yay air conditioning!) Get ready for Hors d'oeuvres, a variety of food, desserts, an open bar, and lots of dancing!
Ceremony Attire: A WHITE PARTY
We’d so love if ALL South Carolina GUESTS wear cocktail attire (no shorts please) in any light color (ex: off-white, cream, beige, champagne, blush, linen, etc.)
